Directory of AIDS Drug Assistance Programs


The AIDS Drug Assistance Program ( ADAP ) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.

The State of Connecticut CADAP and CIPA services are being administered by the Connecticut Department of Public Health beginning November 1, 2018. All applications and information about the Connecticut CADAP and CIPA programs can be found online. You can also email with specific questions.

Eligibility Criteria: 

To be eligible for CADAP, you must:

  • Be HIV positive,
  • reside in Connecticut, and
  • have a family household income that is equal to or less than 400% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Application Instructions: 

If you are new to CADAP you can contact us at 1-800-424-3310 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Apply for the program online.

You can also download a paper application at the CADAP Client Portal. Mail your completed application to State of Connecticut Department of Public Health, c/o Magellan Rx, PO Box 13001, Albany NY 12212-3001 or fax it to 1-800-424-7642.
