The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.

Eligibility Criteria

In the State of Maine, to be eligible for ADAP enrollment, an individual must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a positive HIV/AIDS diagnosis;
  • Be a resident of Maine;
  • Make less than 500% of the federal poverty level.

What you need to apply:

  • Proof you live in Maine
  • Proof of income for you and any legal dependents (spouse, children, etc.)
  • Information about your health insurance
  • We may also ask for proof of your HIV infection
