The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.

Eligibility Criteria

In the State of Maryland, to be eligible for ADAP enrollment, an individual must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a positive HIV/AIDS diagnosis;
  • Be a resident of Maryland;
  • Qualify financially (anticipated gross annual household income must be at or below 500 percent of the current federal poverty level for the size of the legal household);
  • Not be eligible for Maryland Medical Assistance (Medicaid);
  • Submit a complete MADAP application with required documentation.
