The AIDS Drug Assistance Program ( ADAP ) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.

Eligibility Criteria: 

To be eligible, HIV infected residents with a family income less than 400% of the federal poverty level who are not eligible for other forms of reimbursement such as Medicaid or full insurance coverage (ADAP will cover co-pays for eligible residents with insurance) must complete the applications at the Department of Health and Human Resources. Applicant must be enrolled in Ryan White Part B medical case management.

Application Instructions: 

Before receiving ADAP, applicants must be enrolled in Ryan White Part B medical case management. Call 304 232 6822 for more information and assignment to a Medical Case Manager.

Applicants must apply at their county office of the Department of Health and Human Resources.
