The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.
Eligibility Criteria
In the State of Maine, to be eligible for ADAP enrollment, an individual must meet the following criteria:
- Have a positive HIV/AIDS diagnosis;
- Be a resident of Maine;
- Make less than 500% of the federal poverty level.

What you need to apply:
- Proof you live in Maine
- Proof of income for you and any legal dependents (spouse, children, etc.)
- Information about your health insurance
- We may also ask for proof of your HIV infection
