Oregon

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program ( ADAP ) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.

Oregon's AIDS Drug Assistance Program is called CAREAssist.

Eligibility Criteria: 

To become a member of CAREAssist, you must:

  • Be HIV positive
  • Live in Oregon
  • Meet income eligibility using the Federal Poverty Level guidelines (500% and below)
  • Must be ineligible for health insurance. Program must be notified if and when insurance becomes available.
  • Must be enrolled in community-based Ryan White HIV Case Management services.
  • Must maintain all other program requirements, such as completion of the Client Eligibility Review.
