The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.
In the State of Rhode Island, to be eligible for ADAP enrollment, an individual must meet the following criteria:
To apply for ADAP, a RI Ryan White-funded agency case manager can help clients apply. Applicants need to complete an ADAP Application and fax or mail it to EOHHS. The ADAP staff will determine the client’s eligibility. For most people, the enrollment process takes less than 48 hours. Case managers can also help people apply for the RI-FAB program. To be eligible for RI-FAB, clients need to be enrolled in the ADAP program first.
Applications should be faxed or mailed to EOHHS at:
Executive Office of Health & Human Services, Office of HIV/AIDS
Virks Building 3 West Road, Suite 227
Cranston, RI 02920
Fax: 401-462-3297
Applications can also be emailed to both (must email to both adresses) : Denise.cappelli@ohhs.ri.gov & Lyubov.adamova@ohhs.ri.gov
