The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS who are uninsured and under-insured have access to medication.

Eligibility Criteria

In the State of Tennessee, to be eligible for ADAP enrollment, an individual must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a positive HIV/AIDS diagnosis;
  • Be a resident of Tennessee;
  • Laboratory results and confirmation of HIV diagnosis.
  • Proof of State of Tennessee Residency. Must provide documentation showing that you are currently residing in Tennessee. 
  • Proof of Income. To be deemed eligible for coverage by State Ryan White Part B Services Programs a recipient must have a gross household annual income (before taxes and deductions) below or equal to 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).  

The State of Tennessee provides HIV drug assistance, medical services and insurance assistance for eligible Tennessee residents. To be eligible for coverage by the Ryan White Part B Medical Services Program, the Insurance Assistance Program, and the HIV Drug Assistance Program, a recipient must meet the following criteria and then see a Medical Case Manager:
